The preservation of health is easier than the cure of disease ~ B.J. Palmer
As a native of New Braunfels, Texas, my journey into holistic health began during my sophomore year at New Braunfels High School. While playing volleyball and golf, I sustained a low back injury that led me to my first chiropractic appointment—thanks to a referral from my grandmother, who was an acupuncturist at the time. Up until that point, I had planned to pursue a career in orthopedics. However, that experience opened my eyes to the transformative potential of chiropractic care and ultimately shifted my path from conventional western medicine to a more holistic approach to healing.
I went on to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University with a focus on family care, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Tarleton State University. I’m a proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and am certified in Webster’s Technique, Dry Needling, Torque Release Technique, and Activator. I also have training in soft tissue techniques, cupping, and functional taping, which allows me to offer well-rounded, individualized care for my patients.
My passion for helping others achieve optimal health and well-being is what ultimately inspired me to open my own clinic—and that’s how Wild Sage Family Chiropractic was born. I wanted to create a space where individuals and families could feel supported, heard, and empowered in their healing journeys.
Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my identical twin sister, relaxing by the pool, staying active with workouts, and playing with my energetic blue heeler. I’m truly honored to serve my community and be a part of each patient’s unique path to wellness.
Torque release technique is a specialized adjustment chiropractic technique that can correct subluxation or spinal misalignments in a gentle and non-invasive means. This supports the overall goal of chiropractic care, to build on and encourage the body’s ability to naturally heal injuries and illness, and better adapt to the stresses of daily life.
Activator Method is a chiropractic technique that utilizes a handheld, spring-loaded instrument called the Activator to deliver controlled, low-force impulses to the spine and other joints. This technique aims to restore spinal alignment and improve joint function through precise, gentle adjustments, often serving as an alternative or complement to traditional manual adjustments.
Cupping therapy is a form of myofascial decompression. It uses suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues. This technique is used to increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing in the affected areas.
The Webster's technique is a gentle chiropractic adjustment that aligns the pelvis and includes a soft tissue release of associated muscle groups. It allows the pelvis to function properly during pregnancy. The technique reduces soft tissue tension that may cause uterine torsion which allows for an ideal environment for the baby to grow and move.
Dry Needling or Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) is an effective therapy to treat muscular tension and spasm, which commonly accompanies conditions such as arthritis, nerve irritation, muscular strain, ligament sprains and herniated discs. It is called “Dry” Needling because there is no solution injected as with a hypodermic needle during a flu shot.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a technique that uses specialized tools, like metal or plastic instruments, to gently rub and mobilize soft tissues, including muscles, fascia, and skin, to address restrictions and improve tissue health.
